Bonjour. In this video I want to share three simple things to keep in mind while going through this crazy, unprecedented, scary period.
Number one: Relationship with your team and clients.
Like you, most of your clients are also going through tough times. Now is the time to keep in touch, check how they are going, see how you can help in anyway.
You should keep the same logic with your team. Now is the time despite all of us working remotely to keep close, check up on each other and prioritize communication more than ever.
Number two – Protect time for long term priorities while being flexible to deal with the unexpected
You are probably facing a lot of challenges due to the uncertain nature associated with Covid 19. This might consume a lot of time. You need to allow more time to deal with any crisis that may arise. However you still need to ensure you still protect time every day to work on your long term priorities, by blocking time in your dairy to do this.
Number three – Learn new ways of working
Being compelled to work remotely might be a blessing long term for many people. It will show all of us that we can and should do it more often. It will push all of us to be more comfortable with technology. I have worked from home for years and this pushed me to explore video meeting tools like WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom, Skype. They are great tools which enable you to meet virtually with many people, share your screen, write things on a document sharing it with everyone, mute or unmute, create breakout rooms and so on.
Moreover you will see the enormous benefits of staying focused while working from home.
